The 2023 Buick Encore GX gets propulsion from two engine options, a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque and a 1.3-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.
Power goes to the front wheels using a continuously variable transmission on the front-wheel drive models, and a nine-speed automatic transmission on the all-wheel drive models.
