However, the Canyon adds full-time four-wheel drive. The full-time four-wheel-drive provides additional traction for safety in all conditions. The Tacoma only has an off-road system.
Also, power child safety locks are standard on the Canyon, allowing the driver to activate and deactivate them from the driver's seat while also knowing when they're engaged. The driver must engage the kid locks on the Tacoma one at a time.
